Cynthia wanted a more stylish website than the one she built herself, but still wanted it to be as approachable as she is. We also needed to highlight her extensive skills and training in a way that would attract her target customers.
Images were an important part of this website. Using one of Cynthia’s favorite images — a Japanese woodcut as an inspiration, we developed a color palette that reflected her sense of design. While building a site that leveraged bold images, we still enabled Cynthia to tell her story using childhood photos, posed models and candid shots. An embedded Instagram feed also allows her to show off her latest work.
In addition to being a stylist, Cynthia holds a Masters in Fine Arts and is classically trained. She understands the importance of images and visuals, so we selected a variety of photos that would communicate her sense of style and personality.
